We're looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our friendly, close-knit Utilities Connections team, helping customers with new gas, electricity and water connections from enquiry through to completion.
This is a relationship-led sales role, managing warm enquiries, preparing quotations and working closely with customers to deliver a professional service throughout their project.
Previous utilities experience is helpful but not essential. We'll provide full training – we're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, is commercially minded, organised and confident managing multiple customer enquiries.
What you'll be doing
Managing warm inbound enquiries for gas, electricity and water connections
Preparing quotations with support from our technical planning team
Following up quotations and customer enquiries
Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Acting as the main point of contact throughout each project
Managing your sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records
Working closely with internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly
Identifying opportunities for repeat business and account growth
What we're looking for
Experience in sales, account management, customer service or sales support
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence following up enquiries and managing customer expectations
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working with quotations, figures and customer requirements
A proactive team player with a positive attitude
