This is an office-based Account Manager role based in Bury town centre, with parking available and an 8:00am start. The role involves managing warm inbound enquiries and existing customer accounts within our Utility Connections team.

You will manage gas and electricity connection accounts from initial enquiry through quotation, delivery, and energisation. This role suits someone from a sales, account management, customer service, or commercial office background who enjoys building relationships and working towards targets. Previous utility connections experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage warm inbound enquiries for gas and electricity utility connections

• Manage and develop existing customer accounts

• Act as the main point of contact throughout the account lifecycle

• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals

• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders

• Maintain accurate records within the CRM system

• Manage sales pipeline and forecast activity

• Identify opportunities for repeat business and account growth

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a customer-facing, sales, account management, or commercial role

• Strong communication and relationship management skills

• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities

• Target-driven and commercially aware

• Experience using CRM systems or similar tools

Desirable (but not essential)

• Exposure to utilities, energy, infrastructure, or construction environments

• Experience working with B2B customers, developers, or contractors

• Knowledge of gas or electricity connections
